Day Two

How many things do we really need? We tend to hold tight to what we gathered over time, but do we really need all those things? Getting used to rather minimalized surroundings can be liberating. More room for thought. More room for imagination. - Less is more. - I never liked this saying. It's not true. Or is it?

Less distraction - more time to think. More time to be with ourselves. Maybe we just don't like to have to think about ourselves. Do we want to know? See the real inside of our own character? See our souls? It might not be what we hoped for. What we believed there is. Finding flaws would mean we have to make an effort to improve - to be the self we want to be. Or should we just accept what there is? Or, maybe we would find out that we are just right the way we are.

Getting to know ourselves doesn't mean finding out we're good or bad. It simply means to get to know ourselves. Who we are. What we like. What we're capable of and where we might need help to find solutions. We just are what we are.
